Allegany County Welcomes Law Enforcement United – The Ruff Ride

LAW ENFORCEMENT UNITED

HONOR THE FALLEN, REMEMBER THE SURVIVORS


WHEREAS, Allegany County Government wishes to warmly welcome all Law Enforcement United Ruff Ride bicyclists to Allegany County and Mountain Maryland; 


WHEREAS, all law enforcement officers, capably supported by their K-9 partners, diligently work to help and protect citizens and visitors 24 hours a day, every day of the year;


WHEREAS, Law Enforcement United, a 100% volunteer driven organization, strives to honor the service and sacrifice of all law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty and remember the survivors left behind; and


WHEREAS, every K-9 is a special kind of hero and this memorial bicycle ride also recognizes the K-9 partners who have died in the line of duty.


NOW THEREFORE, we, The Board of County Commissioners, commend Law Enforcement United and all participants and supporters of the Ruff Ride from Cumberland, Maryland, to Washington, D.C.

 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands and caused the seal of Allegany County, Maryland, to be affixed today, May 10, 2018.
