Cumberland Area MPO

The Cumberland Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is the federal and state designated regional transportation planning body for the urbanized area in western Maryland; and includes the Cities of Cumberland and Frostburg, and Allegany County and Mineral County, West Virginia. CAMPO is responsible for the transportation planning process for the region. This is accomplished primarily through three related activities: the Unified Planning Work Program; the Transportation Improvement Program; and the Cumberland Area Long Range Transportation Plan.
