About
The Allegany County Commission for Women is an all-volunteer group that was re-activated in 2019. This Commission focuses on assisting in identifying and working to find solution to the problems and concerns of women and promotes equality of all women. The aim is also to foster a close relationship and exchange of ideas among women and organizations that impact them and to serve as a referral source for opportunities for women. The Commission meets monthly, usually on the third Thursday at 5:45. If interested in attending, please contact the name listed below. The Commission welcome input and ideas.
