12th Annual "Top Adventure Town" Contest is Underway

Cumberland, MD is once again a contender for Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine’s 12th annual Top Adventure Towns Contest, now in the 3rd round. Cumberland is also the only Maryland town left in all four categories of the competition. 

What started as 100 'Top Adventure Town' nominees is now down to 24, with six cities per category: large town (population 75,001+), medium town (population 16,001 – 75,000), small town (population 3,001 - 16,000), and tiny town (population less than 3,000).
