The Utilities Division is interested in a digital message sign located at 13800 Winchester Road SW, Cumberland, MD, and is seeking interest letters from viable businesses. Qualified firms will be contacted and invited to attend a mandatory on-site visit meeting to review and discuss the scope of the project. Firms will then be invited to submit a price proposal for the project.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO THE ALLEGANY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, ALLEGANY COUNTY, MARYLAND

FOR ALLEGANY COUNTY UTILITIES DIVISION DIGITAL MESSAGE BOARD PROJECT

1. Expressions of Interest are due by 4:00pm, September 20, 2024. They may be emailed to adam.patterson@alleganygov.org or mailed/delivered to:

2. Scope of Work:
   1. The Utilities Division is interested in a digital message sign located at 13800 Winchester Road SW Cumberland, MD. The sign must meet MD State Highway Administration standards due to its proximity to Winchester Road, SR 658. The sign must adhere to Allegany County Government building codes. The estimated time for completion is December 31, 2024.
3. Expressions of Interest must include:
   1. List of your firm’s experience, a minimum of five years of which shall include work on similar projects of this magnitude.
   2. List of References, with contact information, for similar projects.
   3. Ability to meet anticipated project schedule.
   4. Evidence of required contractor licensing in the State of Maryland to perform this construction and the proof to obtain insurance coverage for this scope of work.
4. Expressions of Interest received will reviewed by Allegany County. Qualified firms will be contacted and invited to attend a mandatory on-site visit meeting to review and discuss the scope of the project. Firms will then be invited to submit a price proposal for the project.
